Developer Internship

Introduction

We are looking for talented and passionate candidates to join our Business Intelligence team as a developer internship based in Craighall, Johannesburg. Browns Jewellers.

Supported by the senior members of the Business Intelligence team, you will have access to direct training and courses to optimize your abilities and level of experience. You must be ready for a challenge and to grow your skills and understanding. Our internship program is designed to give you as much experience as possible to become a permanent team member.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development of web applications and UI/UX
• Technical Report Building
• Database design, maintenance, and optimisation
• Operational support for the business stakeholders
• Application customisation
• Project teamwork

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, or a related degree
• Technical Knowledge of MySQL, and SSMS for report writing
• Web application and API knowledge (.Net, C#, Postman, jQuery, Java Script)
• A logical and lateral thinker who is intellectually curious
• Good problem-solving skills
• A highly motivated individual who is looking to learn and grow with the company

Advantages:

• Prior experience within a workplace
• Hardware knowledge
• Previous experience of Zoho Applications or Deluge
• Technical Knowledge of Oracle SQL and SSRS
