Introduction
The eThekwini Municipality’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Unit is seeking a Seasonal Cashier to support their aquatic facilities in Durban. This is your opportunity to gain valuable municipal cashiering experience while serving your community. As a Seasonal Cashier your job purpose is to Assist the Pool Supervisor by issuing tickets, collecting revenue, and ensuring compliance with Council policies and procedures while providing excellent service to pool visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Sell tickets and coupons to the public in conjunction with the Pool Supervisor.
- Handle pool bookings and permit issuance.
- Attend to and assist members of the public.
- Alert and support the Pool Supervisor when needed.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 months cashiering experience (6 months preferred).
- Skills: Computer literacy, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, customer service orientation, professionalism, teamwork, and resilience.
Special Conditions
- Rotating rest days; Saturdays and Sundays are normal working days.
Remuneration
Salary Range: R162 855.60 – R211 405.80 per annum.
