Introduction

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is offering a 12-month Learnership in Visual Merchandising for unemployed youth. This structured programme will provide practical, work-based training and commercial exposure to equip learners with the skills to grow volume, drive sales, and maintain visual merchandising excellence in retail outlets. The position reports directly to an Account Developer and is based in Diepsloot, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit retail outlets daily and execute merchandising plans
  • Implement stock rotation and maintain product visibility
  • Ensure displays meet Coca-Cola’s visual merchandising standards
  • Conduct in-store surveys (iRED) to track execution
  • Support customers using the MyCCBA platform
  • Assist in running brand promotions and visibility campaigns
  • Provide back-up support as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12 with:
    • Mathematics or Maths Literacy (min. 40%)
    • English and a second language (min. 40%)
  • Unemployed and not enrolled in any other learnership or full-time studies
  • South African citizen aged 18–35
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate
  • No criminal record or negative credit history
  • Willingness to work six days a week
  • Driver’s licence is advantageous
  • Must not have completed a similar learnership previously
  • Post-matric qualification in Sales and Marketing is beneficial
