Introduction

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is a leading bottling partner for The Coca-Cola Company. As part of our commitment to youth development and skills upliftment, we offer structured learnerships to prepare young South Africans for meaningful employment in the retail and FMCG sectors. This 12-month learnership provides unemployed youth with practical, work-based learning to gain skills in merchandising, sales support, and in-store execution. The successful candidates will be trained to support sales operations, implement merchandising standards, and contribute to brand visibility and product placement in retail environments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute daily merchandising tasks in retail outlets (bronze and tin-level)
  • Ensure product visibility, quality, and availability in line with Coca-Cola’s RED standards
  • Implement and maintain in-store displays, visual standards, and promotional activities
  • Conduct stock rotation and assist in monitoring execution performance
  • Educate and support customers using the MyCCBA ordering platform
  • Provide relief support where necessary and work closely with the Account Developer and Sales Team

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
  • English and a second language pass (minimum 40%)
  • South African citizen, aged 18–35 years
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • Available to work six days a week
  • Must be EE candidate
  • No criminal or adverse credit record
  • Not enrolled in any other learnership or full-time study
  • Must not have completed a similar qualification or learnership before
  • Driver’s licence is an advantage
  • Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing is beneficial
